Wendy and David offer you a warm Cumbrian welcome to their newly decorated double bedroom accommodation located centrally in the peaceful village of Skelton. The bedroom leads directly onto its own private balcony offering extensive views of the Cumbrian fells.
The village pub "The Dog and Gun" offers local beers and serves meals and take away food.

The Bedroom

How to find us

From the north or south leave the M6 at junction 41. Take the B5305 signposted Wigton for 5 miles. Pass Upfront Gallery on your left. Just past the last farm on the left is the turn off for Skelton. There is no advance warning of this junction.
As you enter the village turn left, At the Dog and Gun turn right dropping down a hill. As you start to rise look out for North View on your left. The picture at the top should help. Find location on Google maps  Google Maps

BREAKFAST

Breakfast is served at anytime by arrangement with the owners. It is served in the owner's kitchen with views of the garden and beyond. Where possible all products are sourced from local suppliers.

Skelton is ideally situated for those wanting to relax or see the area. It is on the edge of the Lake District. Penrith, Carlisle and the East fellside are a short drive away.
Attractions on the doorstep include Hutton-in-the Forest, Upfront Gallery and Sculpture Valley. 
Lake Ullswater is only 7 miles away and Keswick and Windermere are within easy reach. 
Many other places of interest are less than 1 hours driving away including Hadrians Wall, Gretna Green, and the Yorkshire Dales.
